Introduction to common brands of Muay Thai/boxing gloves

For beginners, choosing boxing gloves is a very troublesome thing.

There are not many related articles on the Internet, so I decided to write an introduction to each brand; at least after reading this article, I will have a basic understanding of common brands of boxing gloves.

Foreword

The following will introduce some common boxing glove brands in Taiwan; plus some of my own experience of using them, as well as some recommended brands (with high CP value), the price and purchasing channels will also be explained.

Some of them are industry-specific, because there are also gloves for sale here, but there are still many gloves that are not sold here, and they are introduced one by one, trying to be objective and accurate.

For ease of reading, the countries are classified as follows:
United States, Thailand, France, United Kingdom, Japan, Mexico, Germany, Pakistan, Taiwan, China.

American brand

Title Boxing

An American boxing products brand founded in 1988, it is considered a senior brand.

It is said that at the beginning, the brand was founded by employees who left Ringside.
In the beginning, it may have been imitating the style of its old club Ringside, but after decades of changes, adjustments in business strategies and rich experience in glove production, it has also found its own path. I think many places have surpassed Ringside.

The official website also sells gloves from other brands, or co-branded gloves.
Another feature is that the official website is always on sale. During holiday specials, there will be a discount of 25%. The price is quite cost-effective. However, the overseas shipping costs on the official website are very expensive, so we have to find other ways to make it more cost-effective.

This brand of gloves has a wide range of styles, and the price gap between the gloves is very large.
The high-priced ones ($150~$200) are made with high quality.
The mid-price models (USD 70 to 150) are all made to a certain level. They may be made of all leather, or the strike surface may be made of genuine leather, while the rest may be made of synthetic leather.
The low-priced models (30-50 US dollars) are all made of artificial leather, which can be used by beginners. Even the low-priced models have a certain quality.

There are different series under the brand, mainly three:

1.Title Boxing
It is the main series, including GEL, Platinum, White, Black, Classic, MMA, Legacy and other small series.
2.Fighting
It is said that it imitates the design of the Japanese Winning brand, but I personally don’t think it can be seen. There are still many differences between the two.
3.ProMex
It imitates the design of the Mexican brand Cleto Reyes. Personally, I only think it is close with a score of 6.7. There are still obvious differences between the two, but the quality is considered to be of a high standard, and the price is almost less than half of Reyes.

There are some co-branded styles of title boxing, such as the Ali co-branded style. The genuine leather style will cost up to 200 US dollars, which is very expensive, but the texture is very good. For special styles like this, there are basically few stores in Taiwan that stock them. You need to buy them yourself from the official website, or find someone to purchase them on your behalf.

The main sellers of this brand are: Minsheng Boxing Gym, Boxing Games, TMMA, City Boxing, Boxing+...etc.

Ringside

An old brand of American boxing supplies, currently sold physically in Taiwan include Boxing World and TMMA.

Genuine leather models cost more than NT$3,000, and there are also low-priced synthetic leather models. To be honest, I feel that the quality of their gloves is getting worse and worse, so the CP value is not so high. However, some of their gloves use special IMF technology, similar to memory foam, to allow the inner sleeves to fit more and more into the user's hands as they use them.

PS: The front of this model is made of real leather, the inner palm part is made of synthetic leather, and the devil's felt side is also made of synthetic leather.

For the model in the photo, the synthetic leather part often peels off, and even where the leather hits the face, there will be a little protrusion, like a wall cancer. I have used other gloves and this problem almost never occurs.

Everlast

泰拳/拳擊手套常見品牌介紹

A well-known American sports brand, which produces many sports peripherals, shoes, backpacks and apparel.
Founded in New York, USA in 1929, it is a very old brand.

In the 2017 Mayweather-Conor fight, Conor wore this brand of gloves, which are also very common in professional boxing matches. Even Ali is a fan of the brand.

At first, the author looked down on this glove company because all I saw were lower-end gloves.
What I find when searching on the Internet are usually entry-level models for beginners. The price is about a thousand yuan, but the quality is not good and the oz weight is inaccurate (too light).

Later I learned that the brand has a high profile, and no boxing gyms in Taiwan can get distribution of the brand. It was not until August 2019 that TMMA purchased the brand's mid-to-high-priced gloves from other channels, including genuine leather styles. But the price is about 4,000-5,000 yuan, and the brand is full of weight.

The author also has friends who ordered their own gloves from foreign official websites and shipped them back to Taiwan, so they first used the brand’s US$100 gloves, which are Power Lock series and the quality is pretty good (the style in the picture).

Canadian brand

Rival

A brand with more avant-garde designs.
It was an early change to boxing gloves, so it is very popular among professional players and is often seen in competitions.

Microfiber leather styles are basically produced in China.
This kind of leather is the closest synthetic leather material to genuine leather.
According to the official statement, the material is more durable than real leather and as elastic as real leather. It is the highest quality synthetic leather.

Genuine leather styles are still mainly made in Pakistan.

The differences in various styles will be explained on the product introduction page of each style. I won’t go into details one by one.
However, I would like to mention one of my personal favorite styles: RFX-GUERRERO.

Features include:
The V-shaped devil felt fixing strap has a very good effect on fixing and covering the wrist.
The outer layer of HDF is a hard shell fixed with EVA material, which has a solid impact feel and high protection.
The striking surface made of D3O material is strengthened, making the striking feel better.
The size is 10OZ, and it fits your palm perfectly. It is the most comfortable model I have ever used, bar none.
It is currently my favorite punching bag glove.

If you are interested in purchasing, please feel free to ask me.

Ring To Cage

泰拳/拳擊手套常見品牌介紹

Rarely seen in Taiwan,Official websiteIt's a little crudely done. OEM manufacturing in Pakistan.
The C17 in the picture is about $100, I remember.

Personally, I think this model is very protective. The foam absorbs shock very well when struck, and the coverage and density are sufficient.

The only obvious problem I feel is that the grip bar (Grip Bar) is a bit too thick, making it difficult to grip, but some people may like this feel.

The feel is somewhat similar to TITLE BOXING's $200 gloves, but this model only costs $100.

The accuracy of the punch peak is good, the shock-absorbing effect of the foam and the elasticity of the cushioning are just right, the leather materials and sewing quality are also very good, and the space and curvature of the thumb are also very comfortable.

Personally, I think this is a very high-quality boxing glove.

Thai brand

TWINS Special

Made in Thailand.
It was the most common brand in early Taiwanese boxing gyms and was used by many people at that time.

Also because this brand was so iconic in the early days (around 2010), other Thai boxing glove brands with similar prices would use TWINS as the benchmark for price comparison.

The price is about 2600-3200 yuan, depending on the number of OZs, colors, and styles. For example, 10oz plain gloves can be bought for about 2600 yuan, but 16oz flame gloves with designs may cost 3200. Yuan.
If the style is endorsed by buakaw, it may be more expensive.

The characteristic is that the leather is relatively hard and very durable. The inner part of the wrist is also made of leather. Other boxing gloves are basically sewn with lining cloth, and the design of devil's felt is relatively high-end.

It should be noted that the inside of the wrist is also made of leather, so it is relatively hard and the wrist coverage is slightly worse. This problem does not exist with the TKB at the same price.

Another thing to note is that there are people selling fake products on the Internet. Except for second-hand products, genuine products are unlikely to be sold for less than 2,000 yuan.

TopKingBoxing

泰拳/拳擊手套常見品牌介紹

Personally, I feel that the wrist coverage is better than that of TWINS.
Recommended to those who want to buy TWINS, you can also consider this brand of gloves.

There are two pad-like things on the wrist, which greatly improves its coverage and protection.

A famous retailer in Taiwan is "TMMA", and you can also find many sellers selling them on online auctions.
The price is currently more expensive than TWINS, settling at around 3,000 yuan.

There is also a brand whose name is very similar to TKB, and the logo design is also very similar. Be careful not to buy the wrong one.

YOKKAO

泰拳/拳擊手套常見品牌介紹

One of Thailand's well-known fighting supplies brands.

Currently, there are three boxing gyms in Taipei including Zhongshan Boxing Gym, Jianglong Zongwu, and TMMA, all of which have physical distribution and sales of this brand.

The characteristic of this brand of gloves is that they are rich in color and unique in style, so they are favored by some appearance-oriented people.

In terms of style, the style of boxing gloves is very close to that of TWINS, and it is also a very good glove. However, on the inner wrist of the glove, TWINS uses genuine leather, while YOKKAO uses synthetic leather. In terms of style, I still like TWINS. more.

But in terms of price, it is still slightly more expensive than other Thai brands, ranging from about 3300-3900.

Fairtex

fairtex

The price is similar to TWINS, and I think the design is very similar, with richer patterns. The quality and durability are very good.

There are special colors such as the American flag or military green, which are sold at the physical stores "Bohaitang" and "TMMA". Online sellers can refer to "Furukawa Xiaofu".

French brand

VENUM

Leather is simply divided into three grades (price points):

1. Genuine leather: The highest price and best quality, usually the Giant series. (More than NT$3,000)
2.Skintex leather: special patented synthetic leather and inner liner, with brighter and more colorful colors, the most popular one, and it feels good to use. (NT$2,200~3,000)
3. PU leather: low-end gloves, the inner liner is too thin and lacks protection, so you need to pay attention to safety when using it. (less than NT$2,000)

A friend of the author bought low-priced Venum gloves and found that the striking surface was not thick enough and the protection was not enough.
It is easy to cause injuries to the sparring partner and pain in the knuckles when practicing striking.
And after using it only five times, the striking surface of the left hand collapsed.
It is recommended to try it on and hit the sandbag to see if it suits you before buying.

There is a layer of padding on the inside of the wrist to protect the wrist, which is very suitable for kicking and throwing. If it is pure boxing, there is no need for that layer of padding.

2018/5/12 Lomachenko moved up a weight class to challenge WBA lightweight boxing champion Jorge Linares. Linares used Venum gloves in this match, which was the first time I saw a player using them in a professional boxing match.

The Pro Boxing series has three styles, namely:

1. HAMMER: It means hammer. As the name suggests, it has the hardest hitting feel. The three-layer padded outer layer uses EVA to give the glove a solid covering. The design concept is suitable for heavy punches and high-intensity strikes, making it easier to knock down opponents.

2. GIANT 2.0: Between the two, it combines protection, comfort, and impact feel, like an extension of the hand.

3. SHIELD: Soft, the middle foam sandwich uses memory foam, which effectively disperses impact and provides the best protection for the user's hands.

It's done to a very high standard, and it has a very professional style no matter from the boxing peak or the coverage.

14~16OZ provides the best protection. But if you use 8~10OZ,
Because the area is small and it is difficult to disperse the impact, the destructiveness of the blow will become very high.
For training, purchase larger weights.

The selling price is on the high side, especially the co-branded models, so the CP value is relatively low.
However, general styles are fully discounted when they are officially on sale.

For official PRO BOXING series gloves, please refer to the detailsExplanatory video

DOMYOS

French sports store Decathlon sells its own boxing gloves.
Because it is a French company, it is classified as a French brand.

The following two models are worse than Everlast's entry-level model. Personally, I feel that the wrist protection is not enough, and the oz count is inaccurate. The 10oz model is also too light. If you hit it hard, it will not only affect your wrists, but also your fists. I won't be able to bear it either.
It is not recommended for people who want to practice boxing to buy it just because it is cheap; it is priced at NT$399, so it can be used by children.

In 2022, I found that the new version has been adjusted and improved.
Personally, I feel that after this adjustment, the accuracy of Quanfeng has been greatly improved.

The three models above are the gloves I saw after they were adjusted this time.
Among them, the price of the red one is 499 yuan, and the material is the inferior, but Quanfeng is the most accurate among the three.
The price of the other two black ones is 999 yuan. The materials are good and the price is very cheap. The accuracy of the fist is not bad, and the coverage and comfort are also acceptable. At this price, they are very competitive.

This makes me sigh. Many manufacturers did not do well in the production and manufacturing of boxing gloves at the beginning, but if they are determined to improve themselves and gradually improve, they will eventually launch better and better gloves. And everyone should not have excessive brand myths. Perhaps the gloves made by a progressive brand will become better in the future.

British brand

RDX

Established in 1999, it is an emerging British fighting supplies brand.
At the beginning, the strategy focused on relatively low prices but high CP value with certain quality.
However, in recent years, with the introduction of new products, prices have tended to rise, especially the PRO series, which has exceeded $100.

The price of high-CP value gloves, such as the classic T9 series, is lower than other genuine leather gloves (the prices have been slightly adjusted, please refer to the official website for the current price).
The synthetic leather EGO series has a similar style to T9 and has a certain level of quality. It is a favorite style for beginners.
It is recommended for those who are just getting started but are not sure how long they will practice. You can consider this brand.
However, the shape of this model is relatively long and flat, which is more suitable for European and American hands. The impact feel is OK when used, but I feel that it is not suitable for my hand shape.

There are many merchants that sell RDX, such as Shenquan Akai, Thousand Miles Journey, Zhikong Gym, Minsheng Boxing Gym, Huke, Boxing Games, Furukawa Xiaofu, etc.
If you feel that you can’t find your favorite color or OZ number through Taiwan Channel, you can also contact us directly.RDX official websiteWhen ordering, they previously had a global free shipping offer, and the goods will be received in about 1-2 weeks, which is very fast.

In the early days, this company’s boxing glove grades were relatively simple: genuine leather & synthetic leather.

Genuine leather models are all made of Nappa Leather, which is softer and more delicate.
The synthetic leather model adopts Maya Hide Leather's exclusive technology synthetic leather, which is highly durable and has a good impact feel.

However, some subsequent designs are very different from the original ones. The fit to the palm of the hand has been greatly improved, and the hitting feel has also been improved.
The exterior design feels relatively simple, but its practicality has been improved.

Pakistan

Ravine

泰拳/拳擊手套常見品牌介紹

It is an OEM manufacturer. It was originally a factory that specialized in manufacturing for big brands, but now it makes its own brand.
The feature is that the price is cheap and the products are of a certain level. Buyers who like high CP value can refer to it.
This is a manufacturer I met at the International Sports Products Exhibition. The boss came all the way from Pakistan to participate in the exhibition.
The specialty of this place is leather products, which account for the bulk of the country's exports. Due to the climate factors of this place, the leather quality is relatively good, so many well-known leather products are produced here.
The genuine leather style in the picture costs about 1,500 yuan and is made to imitate the style of amateur competition gloves.

Excalibur

A glove made in Pakistan, the sponge inside is slightly harder.

The special thing is that the palm part is sewn with suede, and you can buy real leather gloves for more than 1,000 yuan.
It is speculated that because it is the Pakistani OEM's own brand, it is so cheap.

Taiwan Tongtong currently only sells "Shenquan Akai" online, which is considered exclusive to "Shenquan Akai".

Topboxer

A brand established by a Pakistani factory, the website is pretty good, ordering and payment are convenient, and international free shipping is provided.
Official websitePlease refer to this link.

It provides a high degree of customization and the price is about US$110-120. The biggest feature is that the shapes are very good-looking; because many OEM gloves are of good quality, but have no design at all, causing consumers to dislike them.
The designs designed by this brand are all very pleasing to the eye.

As for the styles, I personally think they are almost all Mexican-style designs. They feel quite satisfactory in use and have a certain level of accuracy.
The quality of the leather, materials and sewing are all of good quality and of a high standard.

Korean brand

Heavy Hitters

泰拳/拳擊手套常見品牌介紹

This brand is an emerging brand in Korea and has a certain reputation internationally.
The brand also received high scores in foreign boxing glove review channels.
OEM production for Pakistan.

Try on the style in the photo yourself. This style is a strap-on 16OZ training style. It has good coverage and good fit. The filling material has good protective properties and the leather material is soft. Overall, it is of the highest standard. do.

This model is made in imitation of Winning, but I think it is quite different from the gloves he imitated. Anyway, as long as the gloves are comfortable to wear and have the right hitting feel, I don’t think it’s very important as to who you imitate.

Australian brand

Sting

Punch

泰拳/拳擊手套常見品牌介紹

Taiwanese brand

MASCULINE

泰拳/拳擊手套常見品牌介紹

A brand created by "Jin Hao" who is a Sanda fighter.
The price is very high, the product is good but the CP value is not high. Personally, I feel that the inside of the finger is made of a sponge, which makes it harder when I hold it. The front striking surface is relatively flat, and it feels good when hitting.

Made in Pakistan, you should learn the pattern of gloves from brands such as Greenhill or Topten, and have the gloves made by a factory.
In terms of standard and quality, it's pretty good.

It is sold in Genghis Khan Gym. The pattern is printed with the Taiwanese supremacy and a skull. It is considered a special model of Genghis Khan.

WAKO

泰拳/拳擊手套常見品牌介紹

Flash Sport is a brand produced by Taiwan Kickboxing Association.

When I went to a WAKO match, I brought this brand of gloves for the first time, and later I borrowed them from friends who had purchased them.

There are synthetic leather and genuine leather styles. In terms of style, they are close to amateur competition gloves. I think it is a good brand to use. The price of synthetic leather is about 1,500 yuan, and the price of genuine leather is about 2,800 yuan.

Flash Sport also represents TOP TEN products. (WAKO uses TOP TEN gloves in competitions).

Bohai Hall

泰拳/拳擊手套常見品牌介紹

A Taiwanese martial arts supplies store that initially represented other brands and later started operating its own;
Its characteristic is that it is cheap and easy to use. Those who have served in the military will understand what it means.

Boxing gloves are relatively cheap for genuine leather and can be considered by beginners.

The feeling when trying it on is that the palm coverage is not good, which is usually not the case with new gloves.
There will be too much space when you put your hand in it, and it may shake when you strike, and the feel is not very good.

The gloves are made in Pakistan.

Japanese brand

Winning

The Japanese brand's boxing gloves are also made in Japan, which is a rare item.
It is usually seen in professional competitions and is rarely seen outside.

It is much lighter than ordinary boxing gloves and is not suitable for wearing during practice. A little too thin; more suitable for beating people in competitions.
The texture was beyond words at the time, it was super good.

Currently, some people are selling them in Taiwan’s online auctions.

However, the author here clearly tells everyone that Winnig is a very rare brand that is not distributed by others at all. That is why it is so difficult to buy it elsewhere. It usually has to be ordered from the Japanese official website and shipped by air.

PrizeRing

Japanese emerging brands.
It is designed in Japan and OEM manufactured in Pakistan. The shape and texture are of high quality.
Depending on the style and weight, the price is about US$90-130.

There are relatively rare metallic colors, but the paint will peel off on the shiny areas.

The devil's felt on the wrist adopts a wider design, and the foam on the striking surface is closer to a professional style, with a strong sense of penetration, but the relative protection is not enough.
The leather is soft, and the lining fabric is also made of finer fiber material, making it very comfortable to wear.

The colors and styles change quickly. It can be regarded as a very high-quality company with its own glove design.

Mexican brand

Cleto Reyes

泰拳/拳擊手套常見品牌介紹

One of the brands commonly used by players in foreign professional competitions.

The purchase price in Taiwan is about 6,500 yuan. It is sold by TMMA and Minsheng Boxing Gym, as well as a few online sellers.

Made of lambskin, it smells a bit like disinfectant, which is said to be the characteristic smell of lambskin.
The lining of the thumb is also made of leather, and the slippery feel is very special when used.
Of course, it feels great to use when playing.

The filling uses traditional horsehair, a material only used by a few professional boxing gloves, to increase the hitting feel of the gloves.
There is a distinction between a regular version and a thickened version. The regular version, 12OZ, is a little too thin and light. After all, it is a professional version. It is recommended that 14OZ is more suitable. The thickened version only has two options: 14OZ and 16OZ. Personally, I think the thickened version, 14OZ, is about the same, and 16OZ is a little too heavy. A little more.

There are also girls’ style gloves with the word GIRL written on them. They weigh 12~16OZ and are narrower than the general training models.

No Boxing No Life

Emerging Mexican Brands
The reason for its rapid rise is that several Mexican star players use these gloves for training or competition.
Mainly include: Ryna Garcia, Canelo, Andy Ruiz and other three people.

The exterior designs are very good-looking, and most of them have a metallic luster, which is very gorgeous.
The leather of the gloves produced in Mexico has a special fragrance, which is clearly different from the gloves produced in other countries.

You can buy it from the official website of the United States or Mexico, the quantity is very small, and the official website is often out of stock.

This brand mainly has professional-style gloves, which are all strap-on and filled with horsehair. This kind of gloves is not suitable for training and will break after being filled.
Later, a version for training was introduced, but the penetration was still too high, and the touch on the knuckles was very obvious. If used for sparring practice, the partner might be beaten to death.

This brand is also very popular in mainland China. You can see it sold by many stores on Taobao, and the price is about NT$2-3,000.

To add to the explanation, the cheapest genuine gloves are about 150 US dollars, and special colors and styles are about 250 US dollars.

The gloves you can buy at this price are produced by China Five Dragons using microfiber leather;
In fact, it feels good and looks good. It’s okay to buy it for fun, but don’t ask if it’s genuine.

German brand

 Adidas

泰拳/拳擊手套常見品牌介紹

One of the boxing glove brands certified by AIBA, this brand of gloves was used in the 2016 Rio Olympics.

The agent for Adidas martial arts supplies in Taiwan is Jingwei Martial Arts. The physical store is near Kunyang Station on the Bannan Line.
TMMA also sells Adidas genuine leather boxing gloves, which are priced around 4,500 yuan.
Also on sale at the new boxing club.

Later I discovered that some series of gloves are quite good, such as Hybrid 200, Hybrid 300, and AIBA certified series.

The picture is of the more high-end Speed series, which sells for about $150 and has received very high ratings in foreign boxing glove reviews.

TOP TEN

泰拳/拳擊手套常見品牌介紹

German sports brand. It is also one of the brands of gloves designated by the Amateur Boxing Association. The aiba above is the certification mark. Styles with this certification are usually more expensive.

You can buy the basic model for about 1,700, and the PU leather one is about the same level as Jiurishan microfiber.
The advanced genuine leather model is about 2,600.

The school boxing team often uses this brand of gloves, and it is also one of the brands designated for use by the Amateur Boxing Association.

TOP TEN gloves are a relatively rare brand. Currently, the only agents in Taiwan are Flash Sport and Boxing World.
Boxing World sells mainly genuine leather styles.

GreenHill

The more common red TIGER style is the version used in amateur boxing events.
The German brand mainly sells its products to the Russian national team. Its products cover all martial arts sports, including judo, karate, taekwondo, BJJ, etc.
OEM manufacturing in Pakistan, one of the brands certified by the World Amateur Boxing Association.

There are many products, but the shapes are all simple and the sense of design is not strong.
Usually used by the school's boxing team, there is relatively little change in style, basically just three colors: red, blue, and black.

During use, the author feels that the front sponge part is thicker and protects the thumb better, which can prevent thumb injuries caused by poor posture. The impact feel and coverage are very good. The obvious disadvantage is that the devil felt has no edges, so it will be difficult to grip when wearing boxing gloves.

The author recommends: use the TIGER series for sparring, the thicker the striking surface and the higher the protection; use the LEGEND style for hand target and sandbag training, the hitting feel is clearer, and the coverage is better.

Chinese brand

Jiuri Mountain

泰拳/拳擊手套常見品牌介紹

The brand designated for Sanda fighting competitions.
The styles are roughly divided into: PU leather & microfiber leather

The price of PU leather in Taiwan is about 1,500. The material is average, but in terms of hitting feel, it is actually pretty good and the punch is accurate.

Microfiber is the brand's best leather (not real leather, but synthetic leather that is closest to the feel of real leather). The price on Taobao is about NT$2,000. You can find it with AIBA certification, and the feel is actually pretty good.
(AIBA certified gloves usually cost between 100-150 US dollars)

What I can buy in Taiwan is mainly the goods imported from the mainland by the Xiehe Boxing Gym, or many sellers on the Internet who purchase on behalf of others are also selling them.
(You can also buy it yourself on Taobao. The price is much cheaper. You just have to pay the international shipping fee.)

In terms of appearance, I don’t think they look very good.

Kangrui

泰拳/拳擊手套常見品牌介紹

The elasticity of the sponge is too strong, and the feel of the target is not satisfactory (it is difficult to catch the crisp impact sound), and the paint on the edges will peel off after being used for a long time.

For boxing gloves that cost less than a thousand yuan, beginners can still use them as shields. After practicing for a long time, if you are interested, you can just buy better gloves. At least the wrist protection is better than Everlast.

Wolon

泰拳/拳擊手套常見品牌介紹

Because we help Rival, Hayabusa and other big brands in OEM production.
Learned manufacturing technology and established R&D technology department.
The several series produced: 1990, Xiaolong leather and other styles are all high-quality gloves.

The outer layer is made of microfiber leather. The artificial leather made in mainland China is of good quality, but the real leather still has to be found in Pakistan.

The liner part borrows a lot of Rival's functional design, with integrated wrist and leather bladders, etc. The liner is covered with multi-layered foam, and the punch is accurate, and the hitting feel is very good.

Currently, among Chinese brands, my most recommended gloves are Wulong’s gloves.
(Of course there are many brands of gloves, but the main thing I look at is that the shape of the fist should be accurate and the wrist coverage should be comfortable.)

Conclusion

If you have any questions about boxing gloves, you can write to us to discuss.
You can also ask the author where to buy boxing gloves, which will be cheaper than on the market, thank you.

A brief description of the differences between the six different types of boxing gloves (refer to the description on the English website – Best Boxing Glove Guide)

1. Bag Gloves
Intended to protect your wrists and finger knots, they are divided into classical punching gloves and modern punching gloves.
It is less recommended to use classical punching gloves, which provide less protection for the joints and feature exposed thumbs.

2. Sparing Gloves
Usually the oz count will be heavier to protect your opponent rather than aiming to knock him down.

3. Training Gloves
Anyone who practices boxing should have a pair of gloves, which can be used universally for sparring or punching gloves.
It is recommended for beginners or those who don’t know which gloves to choose. These gloves are also generally cheaper.

4. Fighting/Pro gloves
It is lighter and smaller, has a greater impact, and is designed to knock down the opponent.

5. Gloves used in MMA
With your fingers exposed, your palm is hollow. You can use sandbags. It is not recommended for boxers as the gloves have less padding and are prone to damage.

6. Muay Thai gloves (or kickboxing gloves)
Compared with training gloves and sparring gloves, the biggest feature is that you can use your hands flexibly to use some techniques to catch the opponent with your hands. (For example, the technique of connecting legs with hands)
