There are many factors to consider when buying or selling gloves. We'll discuss price factor this time.
In view of the fact that more and more people want to join the ranks of equipment wholesale,
here is some information for your reference.
You can also check whether the brand has sufficient value.
A simple list of ex-factory prices:
the less good PU gloves cost about $5, and these gloves usually sell for between $15 and $35.
Ordinary PU gloves cost about $10~15, and the selling price of these gloves is usually between $35~100.
The cost of ordinary leather boxing gloves is about $20, and the selling price of these gloves is usually between $60 and $130.
The cost of relatively high-end leather gloves is about $25 to $50, and the price of such gloves is usually more than $100.
The cost difference of less than $15 USD dollars can determine whether the gloves in the hands of consumers are good or bad.
Air freight requires at least 2 boxes of packages to be transported at one time, totaling 20 pairs of gloves, of which the shipping cost for one pair is approximately $20 to $35.
Generally speaking, the more boxes shipped at one time, the more cost-effective it is to combine shipping costs.
The advantage is that as soon as the factory is ready, pre-sales can be issued immediately, increasing the sales speed.
Shipping by sea requires at least 10 boxes of packages, totaling 100 pairs of gloves, to be transported at one time. The freight is about half that of air shipping,
but there are more delay factors. Usually, you have to wait for all the goods to arrive,
So your sales plan might be postponed.
The biggest problem is the added value of the brand and the air freight that is twice as expensive as large box parcel delivery.
The distribution price is generally about 60% to 70% of the selling price, and the general agent price is 40% to 50%.
The brand's profit is about 20% to 30% of the selling price.
Does the brand first receive the goods from the factory and then forward them to the dealer, or does the factory send them directly to the dealer's country?
Not going through the brand, but sending it directly from the factory can save some shipping costs, but lack of quality control can easily lead to defective products.
The risks you will encounter need to be decided by yourself.
Whether you want to find a factory to produce it yourself or find a brand to distribute it, it will not be easy.
Many factories in Taiwan are specialized and need to be contacted by themselves to form their own production lines.
A single version, weight, left or right hand all requires a separate and independent mold, requiring hundreds of millions of funds to start.
So manufacturing in Taiwan is not practical.
There are also problems when entrusting foreign factories. Some factories will lie about the technology they can do, or charge money but not deliver goods.
For foreign factories with real integrity, you can only choose 1 out of 20.
Brands are not always honest. If the quantity ordered is not large enough, it may be sneaked into unsalable products,
which have been improperly stored and have hardened filling and leather. The dealers often need to test them themselves.
Brand distribution or entrusting factories to make equipment are both very interesting processes. You will look forward to every new thing that arrives,
just like unpacking a blind box. Sometimes it is surprising, sometimes it is frustrating.
Because of the equipment distribution, the author has made many friends and even close brothers who only have our equipment.
Testing equipment requires a lot of time. The author once wore boxing gloves almost all the time for a year,
just to feel a more delicate feel.
Sometimes there are problems with the design of the equipment being tested, resulting in varying degrees of injuries.
The author currently has a debt of $20,000 because of the equipment business, but as long as there are people who support us and need our equipment,
we can continue to persevere.
Newly joined equipment dealers, because of your participation, consumers have more opportunities to compare
and are more likely to buy the good equipment they think of. Both of us continue to work hard, and good luck to you guys.
If you think our equipment design concept is great,
Want to give us some support,
So that we can develop in the long term,
